Fairhaven Industries was founded in 1967 to serve two purposes:

• to provide quality employment opportunities for individuals with mental or developmental disabilities
• to give businesses in Northeast Ohio and Western Pennsylvania access to affordable contract labor services to meet long and short-term production demands

For over 30 years, manufacturers, offices, financial institutions, retailers, healthcare organizations and other companies have relied upon Fairhaven Industries when they needed access to a flexible and cost-effective labor force.

Fairhaven Industries is is a contract agency of The Trumbull County Board of Developmental Disabilities. Fairhaven Industries, Inc's Board of Directors is an advisory board for wages to consumer and work procurement for consumers. The Trumbull County Board of Developmental Disabilities is the governing board making policy decisions for Adult Services and the entire Fairhaven Program.
